OUR Methodology

EDUCATION

The Centre will cooperate and collaborate with appropriate agencies of government, international agencies, institutions, specialized NGOs and schools in order to facilitate the training of Nigerian citizens, law enforcement officers, judicial officers, health officers, school teachers and other categories of the societies on issues that affect human, environmental development and their well being.

The Educational programme of the Centre will be both formal and informal and with priority on the individuals and groups with the capacity for multiplier effect.

The Centre will explore the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and other traditional means.

RESEARCH

The Centre will prioritise research activities and thus work extensively on collecting and collating data on human and environmental development issues.

The Centre shall also keep a library of human development issues as a resource centre for academia, students, government agencies and other interested person(s) to access.

CAMPAIGN

The Centre will use campaign as an instrument of social conscientisation, orientation and mobilization. This will involve the use of the print, electronic media and traditional channels of communication as well as awareness rallies.

ADVOCACY

The Centre will explore the process of the law to advocate for the enactment of pro-people laws as well as the enforcement of such laws.

The Centre will also explore the process of the law to seek redress, compensation and rehabilitation for victims of human right violations.

NETWORKING

The Centre will explore its fullest, co-operation within the local civil society, international NGOs donor agencies and government agencies.

The core partners of the Centre will be the beneficiaries of its various programmes.

LOBBYING

The Centre will engage the government and those in the administrative sections of governance in the country at all levels in a constructive, cooperative and collaborative way with a view to working mutually for the attainment of improved standards of living, peace and justice within the Nigerian society

The Centre will employ lobbying of the various parliamentary arms of government as well as the executive arms of government at all levels for the promotion of human and environmental development.

TECHNOLOGY

The Centre will explore to its maximum, opportunities provided by technologies especially, the Information and Communication Technologies for the purpose of mass mobilization, orientation, conscientisation, education, communication and social interaction.
